Anthony Jacquin Reality is Plastic! Thank you. So it is okey to get the book first and then maybe the dvd later?
Psychophysiological Thought Reading: Muscle Reading and the Ideometer Response Revealed
I only have the book but I understand the techniques in the DVD are the same. With the DVD you get to see Banachek in action of course and can then believe it actually works. However I got on fine just with the book as there is one simple secret to muscle reading and once you have tuned into that not in any mystical sense then you can do it and just have to practice.
The book provides ample information to grasp the secret and also contains lots of ideas for routines. It has lots of information on the history and evolution of the skill.
Posted: Apr 2, pm. The book is a better resource than the dvd. He does cover the technique in the dvd, but the book goes into greater detail and allows you to digest the information. Just my opinion.

Live or Die!!! I read the book first, and then watched the dvd. And I personally absorbed more info on the book. Plus, not being able to see how it was performed allowed me to perform it my own way. It's actually much more simple than people make it to be IMHO. It occured to me at once that love could be a great illusion, that makes fools of brilliant thinkers everyday. Am I the only one that thinks the title is just a tad pretentious?

It could have just been called Muscle Reading Flame away people. Flame away. Psychopysiological Thought reading is a title from an area of science that describes muscle reading perfectly, in fact much better than Hellstronism a mentalist name who came a long later and made it big using the technique and this title is really more to the point than muscle reading that really does not describe it correctly since we are not reading muscles.
Hahaha yeah- maybe instead of nlp try picking up a book on psychology, or hypnosis and suggestion.
Don't make the mistake of thinking you can program other people's minds by talking to them The advice about pretending to muscle read is actually quite good. Banachek mentions it as it is a great way to learn without the risk of failure. However you cannot be influenced by knowing the result and that is the hardest part.
Turn back around and start muscle reading you will not be influenced as you have no idea where the card is yet you know what it is. If you are having trouble play it off like you know where it is.
I bought banachek psi series vol. It isn't a book, but a whole dvd, where benachek teaches you muscle reading, it's really well explained, and it has lots of applications in it.
BANACHEK'S PSI SERIES VOL. 4
It's a good point though, I don't know of any other DVDs on the subject for the "visual learners" out there I think he was trying to say that it's easier to pretend rather than learning the actual skill, which takes time, effort and ALOT of trial and error. I myself am not an expert on muscle reading by any means, but while you can achieve similar effects with psudo-muscle reading, there are some incredible things you can do on the spot that you would never be able to achieve without the skill.
